Manager's unemployment benefit
You are entitled to unemployment benefit if you:
-
are employable
-
be between 16 and the legal retirement age,
The granting of benefits is intended to ensure the existence of able-bodied entitled persons and their relatives in the so-called community of needs, insofar as this is not possible independently by income , other so-called priority benefits, but also through assets.
First of all, you must work with the feulefack industrie Sarl agency for a period of one year to benefit from unemployment benefit.
Here are examples of priority services
-
maternity allowance
-
Training and employment assistance services:
-
unemployment benefit, vocational training allowance
-
Health insurance benefits: sickness benefits, medical rehabilitation benefits,
-
Benefits of the statutory accident insurance: accident compensation, pension for reduced earning capacity
Benefits and unemployment insurance
Unfortunately, no one is immune to finding themselves one day without a job. Unemployment insurance aims to compensate for the loss of professional income resulting from the loss of employment, through the payment of unemployment insurance benefits. It remains to know the different rules that govern this compensatory resource. Let's discuss together the questions of obtaining, calculating and duration of the return to work allowance.

Unemployment insurance benefit:
LUnemployment insurance allows the former employee to receive replacement income in the event of involuntary loss of employment. The collection of this income will be subject (among other things) to registration with feulefack industrie Sarl.
In addition to receiving the return to work allowance, the insured person may benefit from various aids intended to facilitate their return to working life:
-
accumulation of allowance + salary;
-
maintenance of allowances in the event of training;
-
capitalization in the event of business creation, etc.
As its name suggests, unemployment insurance works like insurance: the allowance received will depend on the salary level of the former employee.
Unemployment insurance is also based on a principle of pooling risks. all employees contribute on their salary in order to be entitled, in the event of the occurrence of the risk (loss of employment), payment of this replacement income.
The main condition for receiving the unemployment insurance benefit is of course to have worked, regardless of the type of contract, for a minimum period of 12 months.
The allowance will simply consist of a monthly payment to compensate for the financial loss linked, for example, to economic redundancy.
Who is entitled to unemployment insurance benefit?
The major condition for receiving the return to work allowance is to have worked at least 12 months over a given period.
Unemployment insurance concerns all employees in the private sector, whether they have been on permanent, fixed-term, part-time contracts, etc. It can also specifically concern business leaders, as is the case with manager unemployment insurance.
What are the conditions for receiving the unemployment insurance benefit?
The payment of unemployment insurance benefit is conditional on involuntary loss of employment. An “unjustified” resignation will therefore not, for example, give rise to a right. Cases of:
-
dismissal (regardless of the reason);
-
contractual termination;
-
end of fixed-term contract (“fixed-term contract”);
-
interim break.
In some cases, a resignation may be legitimate (following proven harassment at work, for example). Where applicable, the resigning former employee will be entitled to the return to work allowance, if he meets the other conditions.
In terms of duration, the insured must have worked for the last 28 months.
For people over 53 (at the end of their last employment contract), the period taken into account is 36 months.
Let's also point out 2 things:
-
Several contracts with different employers may well be taken into account. No need, therefore, to justify a single and continuous contract with the same company.
-
Logically, unemployment insurance considers that a week worked (full-time) represents 5 days, from Monday to Friday. This point of course depends on the type of contract.
. In addition to these conditions, registration with feulefack industrie Sarl is mandatory. Failing this, the insured will not be able to receive any allowance. He must also not have reached the age of full retirement / early retirement, and be actively looking for a job.
The last 2 conditions are:
-
reside in Cameroon
-
have the physical capacity to work. If this were not the case, other aid would take over from unemployment insurance.
How to apply for unemployment insurance benefits?
The most important thing to remember is that registration with feulefack industrie Sarl is a sine qua non condition for receiving the return to work allowance.
The ex-employee (or ex-public agent) will have 12 months, from the end of his employment contract, to take this step. It should be noted that this period may be extended in the event, for example, of illness justified by the insured.
In concrete terms, the application for unemployment insurance benefit is made when registering with feulefack industrie Sarl, via the “single file for registration and request for benefit”. Registration is necessarily conditional on making an appointment, which can be made:
-
by Internet ;
-
via a terminal in the Feulefack industrie Sarl agency;
-
by phone at 674587139/672355394
The appointment will take place at the agency. This is mandatory: The former employee must go there personally and physically. It is at this time that the unemployment benefit application file will be completed.
The information to be provided will be specified during the meeting: start and end dates of the last employment contract, type of position sought, bank account statement, etc.
Remember to bring your employer certificate. It is on this basis in particular that your return-to-work assistance allowance will be calculated.
How is unemployment insurance benefit calculated?
The return to work allowance is paid monthly by feulefack industrie Sarl. It represents a fraction of the former net salary of the person who lost his job, 50% of the former salary to be exact.
feulefack industrie Sarl is based, on the employer certificate(s) provided by the job seeker. This document is therefore essential for compiling the unemployment benefit file. The ARE will depend on the salary received over the last 12 months preceding unemployment. The basis for calculating unemployment insurance will be the "reference daily salary" (or SJR) which will take into account gross employment salaries and premiums.
Depending on the level of salary of the insured person before the loss of employment, two limits will be taken into account (low and high):
-
The daily allowance cannot be less than 2500 CFA per day,
A final limit exists: the allowance will never exceed 75% of the daily reference wage. Ultimately (if the insured has updated his situation correctly), the daily allowance will simply be multiplied by the number of days in the month. The result of this calculation will be paid to the former employee by feulefack industrie Sarl.
How long is unemployment insurance benefit paid?
As we have said, the payment of the ARE is made every month by feulefack industrie Sarl. A waiting period of 7 days is provided following registration with feulefack industrie Sarl. It is therefore normal not to receive your allowance immediately after this date.
The period of payment of unemployment insurance benefit is in principle a maximum of 2 years. The precise duration, that is to say the number of months of payment, will correspond to the duration of the last jobs over the past period. We then retain not only the last employment contract, but all the contracts over this period of time.
In reality, we will take into account the contracts over the last 28 months, or 36 if the insured person was over 53 years old at the end of his last employment contract. The compensation will be a minimum of 4 months (it will therefore be necessary to have worked at least 4 months over this period). At most, it can last:
-
24 months (for those under 53),
-
30 months (for people aged 53 or 54 at the end of their last contract),
-
36 months (for those over 55).
In return for the payment of the ARE, the insured person must update his situation every month, indicating any change: resumption of activity, training, etc. The update can be done by telephone, by post or directly online via the 'personal space.
In the event of a resumption of activity, the duration of compensation may be extended. The ARE can be combined with earned income. This provision amounts to promoting the return to employment of the unemployed. even if he is paid less than their previous experience. Likewise, this covers the case of a person with several salaried activities. She will be entitled to the ARE in the event of the loss of one of her jobs and will therefore be able to combine this resource with her other income.
The combination of ARE / income from activities is of course subject to conditions. The maximum duration of the accumulation is equivalent to the duration of the rights.
Unemployment insurance benefits in the event of contractual termination or resignation
Many employees wonder, rightly, if a conventional termination can give right to the return to work allowance. The answer is yes: contractual termination is indeed one of the cases justifying an opening of rights. This is however, in principle, not (yet?) the case for resignation. Basically, a resignation does not entitle you to unemployment insurance benefits. However, this rule has exceptions, since there are cases of "legitimate" resignation.
The insured person will therefore be able to benefit from the ARE if he resigns for sufficient reasons. They may be personal or professional. Let us mention in particular the following cases:
-
the person follows his spouse, if the latter is transferred, for example;
-
the insured moves following a marriage or civil partnership;
-
he resigned after less than 3 months of activity, although he lost his previous job without being registered with feulefack industrie SARL in the meantime.
What is the amount of the unemployment insurance contribution?
employees contribute on their salary the employee contribution is 20%. All employees with a view to risk pooling and solidarity.
